The new acoustic project from Indie-Hop artist Jonathan Denmark.  This dreadfully honest collection of songs was fleshed out over the last year in bedrooms and back seats across Northern and Southern California.  At their first meeting, Jonathan and producer Hanford Pittman were robbed.  And if you’re wondering why the drums sound a little drunk, ask them to share a story or two about failed gear and data recovery.  Featuring vocals by Maria Rozgoni, violins by Honor Nezzo and knitting by Katie Zimolzak.

Never shying away from defeat, each song on is a chariot, ready to carry you off to your next confession or bring you home, heavy hearted and alone.  Mixed and mastered by Benji Kay (Love Is a Story), the debut album is available 01.27.11 on iTunes, via Paypal and at live shows.

This is interesting, but I was looking for his experimental Indie-Hop project: Jonathan Denmark.
